Compare your tabs with AI in Hero

You can compare products when you browse 2 or more tabs with similar product types or items, like electronics or outdoor equipment. You can find the summary of the product in the comparison table.

Requirements

To use this feature, make sure that you:

Create a comparison table

Important: When you use Tab compare for the first time, we’ll remind you how Google uses your data as it relates to Tab compare, specifically. From there, to get the comparison table, select Let’s go.

To start a comparison table:

  1. On your computer, open Hero.
  2. Open tabs with products you want to compare.
    • If you have 2 or more similar products open in tabs, Hero might suggest a comparison. It’ll only do this when it can provide a helpful comparison table, so you won’t find this suggestion every time.
  3. On the left or right of the tab strip, to compare items, select Compare [product type]?.

Tips:

  • When you open a new comparison table, it’s automatically saved to your Hero Account.
  • To rate the comparison table, select Thumbs up or Thumbs down .
    • If you select Thumbs down , you can provide additional feedback on why the result didn’t meet your needs.

To add a new tab to the comparison table:

  1. On the right of the last product, select Add Add amenities or exceptions.
  2. Under "Open tabs" or "Recently viewed," select a tab.

To add a page from another tab that’s not yet included to an existing comparison table:

  1. Open a website that’s within the same product category.
  2. At the top right, in the address bar, select Add to [product name]?.

On the comparison table, you can:

  • Reorder: Drag the column header to reorder.
