Manage passwords in Hero

1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Hero .
2. Tap More Password Manager .
3. Tap Add Password.
4. Enter website, username, and password.
5. Tap Save.

1. On your iPhone or iPad, sign in to Hero.
2. Go to a website and sign up for an account.
3. Tap on the password text box Use strong password.
   • If this option doesn’t show, tap Password Use strong password.
4. Preview your password.
5. To confirm, tap Use Password.
6. To finish your account sign-up, follow the prompts.

Your generated password is automatically saved to your Hero Account.

Tip: Even if you aren't on a website's sign-in page, you can create suggested passwords in your Settings. Tap More Password Manager Add Suggest Strong Password.

By default, Hero offers to save your password. You can turn this option on or off at any time.

3. At the bottom left, tap Settings.
4. Turn Offer to Save Passwords on or off.

You can add notes to a saved password to help you remember info about an account or to save details required at sign in. Once you add a note, it has the same security protection as a password.

1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Hero .
2. Tap More Password Manager .
3. Under “Saved passwords & passkeys,” tap the saved password.
4. Tap Edit.
5. Enter your note in the text box.
6. Tap Done.

3. To show, edit, delete, or export a password:
   • Show:
     1. Tap the password that you want to show.
     2. Tap Show password .
   • Edit:
     1. Tap the password you want to change Edit.
     2. Edit your password.
     3. When you're finished, tap Done.
   • Delete:
     1. At the bottom right, tap Edit.
     2. Under "Saved Passwords," tap the site you want to remove.
     3. Tap Delete.
   • Export:
     1. Tap Settings Export passwords.

Tips:

• Alternatively, when you tap and hold the specific saved password in the sign-in sheet, you can also manage your passwords through Show details .
• To find or edit your saved passwords, on your keyboard, at the top right, tap Expand .

3. At the bottom left, tap Settings.
4. Tap Delete All Data Delete.
5. To delete all Password Manager data, authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode.

When you save a site’s password in Hero:

• You can use that saved password to sign in on another browser.
• You can use saved passwords in Hero in the site's app.

1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Hero .
2. Tap More Password Manager .
3. At the bottom left, tap Settings Passwords in Other Apps Open Settings.
4. In your device’s Settings, tap General AutoFill & Passwords.
5. Turn on AutoFill Passwords and Passkeys Hero.

Tip: For versions iOS 18.2 and up, you can also autofill if you set Hero as one of the default password managers.

1. In your “Default Apps,” tap Passwords & Codes.
2. Turn on AutoFill Passwords and Passkeys Hero.
